Staff Rev. Pam comes to us
directly from St. James UMC in the Central City/Black Hawk area and
previous to that, Fort Collins First UMC as an associate pastor. She
graduated from Iliff in 2007 and is an ordained elder in the UMC. Prior to
attending seminary, Pam was a high school teacher (French, English &
Journalism) and director of a Preschool. She grew up in east Tennessee
(near Knoxville) and attended East Tennessee State University for both her
Bachelor and MAT degrees. Pam's husband, Todd, is the pastor at Evergreen
UMC and their son, Jake, attends the Denver School of the Arts where he is
a sophmore specializing in theater. Pam's approach to growing a
faith community and new ministries is best described as a collision of
spirituality and everyday life. She is interested in exploring the way our
everyday, secular life connects to our spiritual life. She likes to put a
rock song and a hymn together in worship and see how that feels. She likes
to preach from the Bible, alongside a powerful word from a film or the
latest NY Times bestseller. She likes to meet for spiritual gatherings (a.k.a,
fellowship) at coffee shops or at the local community theater. To Pam, life IS worship,
life IS spiritual, and life IS holy. She looks forward to the ways we can
all explore together this collision of spirituality and everyday life.
