At Niwot UMC, we have a wide variety of groups that meet on a regular basis to provide opportunities for fellowship, friendship, and spiritual, mental, and emotional growth.
United Methodist Women meets the second Thursday of each month at 9:30 am.
Our Choir, under the direction of Liz Olson, practices weekly on Wednesdays at 7 pm.
Adult Sunday School meets on Sunday mornings at 9 am.
Free Thinkers Book Group meets weekly on Wednesday mornings at 9 am for in-depth discussions of spiritual/religious books.
Bea’s Lunch Bunch meets monthly at a local restaurant for a Sunday lunch.
Our Adult and Family Ministries (the FUN committee) plans fun events throughout the year.
Book Club meets monthly to discuss a variety of books. Book Club does not meet during the summer.
Jigsaw Puzzle Group meets Wednesdays at noon.
Dominoes Group meets Thursdays at 1:30 pm.
Our annual Soup, Soup and More community supper is a neighborhood and congregation favorite.
We have a monthly Supper Club on the last Wednesday of the month at 6 pm to enable members of the congregation to get to know each other better. It’s a potluck — come share a meal with other church members in an informal setting. Bring your own table service and a dish or food-item to share.
Our Outreach ministry team coordinates Christmas Adopt-a-Family gifts, Thanksgiving Food Baskets, food drives, Homeless Shelter meal-serving, school supply drives, and a variety of other local, regional, national, and international outreach activities.
