We have two “events” yet to be scheduled during August — one is the second Martin Luther video, and the other will be a guest presentation by a defense attorney on the capital punishment issue.
As a follow-up on our Mormon series: consider attending the LDS Family Carnival in Thompson Park in Longmont, on Sat., Aug. 25th, 5 to 7 p.m. There will be free food, games, and fun. This will be a good opportunity to interact with the wonderful folks who came to share their beliefs with us. They have invited us as their guests.
For fall, we will have a series on understanding Islam, which in our world, should be timely and interesting. Please feel free to offer suggestions for topics, speakers, and resources — and jump in to lead or facilitate a discussion. There are always good leadership materials available.
