Twenty-third Psalm Prayer Beads

This bracelet was made by Jennifer Hayes.

The clasp is on the bottom, to the right of the cross, and Jennifer used small golden beads to separate the beads that represent the lines of the Psalm.

The Lord is my Shepherd, I shall not want.

The first bead to the right of the clasp is clear bead.

He makes me lie down in green pastures;

The next bead is a pretty green glass bead with tiny flowers painted on it.

He leads me beside the still waters.

The blue circle bead represents water.

He restores my soul;

Jennifer choose a white bead with a painted flower to represent her soul restored in the presence of nature.

He guides me in the paths of righteousness for His name's sake.

The reddish oblong bead is Carnelian.

Even though I walk through dark times,

The large black oval bead at the top of the circle is a Botswana agate is laced with white lines.

God is with me, I will not be afraid;

The metal bead is silver with gold circles...

Thy rod and Thy staff, they comfort me.

The red bead...

Thou dost prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies;

Clear bead with a black and silver center

Thou has anointed my head with oil; My cup overflows.

Blue bead circled with bronze flecks

Surely goodness and mercy will follow me all the days of my life,

Amber bead

And I will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.

Heart charm

Jennifer then added a Star of David, which she touches and says "Shalom" or peace, and the Cross, which she touches and says "Amen."
